I went shopping at my usual Tar-Zhay (Target) today, and when I came back out to my car, I found a surprise:

My car had made a new friend!

This amused me for two reasons:

  1. If I owned a super-common car like a Civic/Accord/Corolla/Camry/whatever and I came out to find another one parked next to mine, I wouldn't think anything of it. There are so many of those on the road and lining America's parking lots that it's practically the norm, not the exception, to see a bunch in one place. But for whatever reason, the Subaru WRX is a rarer sight, especially my year (2006).

  2. But more importantly, whoever parked next to me (most likely intentionally) shares my sense of humor, because that's totally something I would do. I did it when I had a Maxima, and I do it now that I have a WRX too. Such opportunities are rare, however.

Plus I love the license plate on the companion car. "W GRR X."
