Well, at Least They're Consistent
I was perusing an article on CNN pertaining to the historic health care reform vote tonight, when I stumbled upon the following paragraph...
Can Republicans block the vote?: Democrats control Congress, so they should be able to bring the Senate bill, and a package of changes to it, to a vote. But Republicans plan to impede the process as much as they can.
...when I realized CNN can save themselves a lot of reporting/writing effort in the future by simply copying that piece of text and using it in place of any future articles about the current Congress. The way things have been going, that'll pretty much nail it every time.
It brings entirely new relevance to one of my favorite thoughts: if "con" is the opposite of "pro," what is the opposite of "progress?" Hey, maybe that deserves to be a "TotD." Hmm, on that note...
